Prioritize Yourself!

Your Top Priorities:

When was the last time you thought about your top priorities?

If you’re like many new moms, you may be so focused on your baby and on your ‘to do’ list that you’ve forgotten yourself.

Answer the following questions to discover what’s important to you. And when I say ‘what’s important’, I do not mean what is urgent (i.e., pay the bills):

I mean what is critical for your long term well-being.

Questions:

• What right now do I care about most?
• What do I wish I had more time to do?
• What will still be important to me in 20 years?
• At the end of my life, what will I regret not doing?

Pick a priority you’ve discovered and devote at least 15 minutes to it in the next week.

Remember: When you make time to tend to your own top needs and desires, you not only become a more energized, satisfied and present new mom, but you also model for your child the self-loving behavior that you want him/her to incorporate into his/her own life.
